Yet another twist in the Adak saga

Regular Deckboss visitors will recall the troubled processor out on Adak Island was sold back in November.

Or so we thought.

It seems the buyer, as alleged in this lawsuit, can't get the seller to sign off on the deal!

Isn't Kjetil Solberg the former owner of Adak Fisheries as well as the current owner of Adak Seafood? Is it possible for someone to sue themself?

I read the complaint. It looks like Kjetil is refusing to pay some bills that he was obligated to pay under the bankruptcy agreement. Kjetil has a very long history of not paying his bills. Why would anyone be surprised when he doesn't want to pay these bills either?

come on now, read the complaint. Adak Fisheries was taken over by John Young. It is john young who won"t pay the bills because he wants the money to go to him and his lawyer. The court agreed what bills are to be paid and young wont pay them. this is nothing to do with kjetil.

THAT IS CORRECT. ALSO IT SAYS THAT ADAK SEAFOOD GAVE THE MONEY TO THE COURT ALREADY TO PAY, ITS JUST SITTING THERE.

Ya, cause kjetil is not a con man. How dare anyone try and accuse him of another con. for shame.
