The Alaska Department of Fish and Game has called a public meeting for Feb. 26 in Kodiak to discuss a potential walleye pollock seine gear test fishery.

I certainly hope this test fishery will be fully observed...
What a great idea! Please, do it in Kachemak Bay. Then maybe we can actually enjoy eating a locally caught crab or shrimp again.
