The state is inviting offers for "repossessed" individual fishing quota.

houses foreclosed on since I F Q's
were introduced. Or because quota
share owners raised their quota
percentage to avoid repossession.

Help is on the way....hired skipper ifq amendment has passed out of staff office and is in final comment period before it goes on federal register. First generation guys.....the gig is up. Sale going on for xtra tuffs get them while you can.

IFQs need to go the way of the dinosaur. No way for a newbie to get into fisheries because fishing has become a hobby for the rich to get richer these days.

It's really hard to break this IFQ triangle - powerful handful having the federal and state governments on their side leaves nothing for the resource owners.

Eat chicken and noodles instead of seafood because that's for the rich people.
