Any reason why a nonprofit is stepping into this issue and not state or federal regulators who issued the permits?
They are called kayaktivists and by the laws on the books they are allowed to sue over these violations.
Probably because it's a BS hit-piece suit by wealthy NIMBYs who want to build waterfront condos in place of working waterfronts.
