It's not funny, but damn!

Following orders on deck is a fact of life in commercial fishing. So is the possibility of serious injury.

Here is a recently filed lawsuit that combines both those realities in bizarre fashion.

The gist of the matter is on page 5 of the suit.

Worked for the boat how many years....did how many offloads...?? And then just decided to jump one day? Because someone told him to? Milking that bad decision for all its worth....I dunno man...

10 years on the boat and he still doesn't know where to get his own ladder? I'd have fired his ass years ago.

Stayed on the boat for two weeks after he was permanently disabled? Sounds to me like the cause of his permanent disability was a phone call to the sleaze bag lawyers.
