This Gov program is clearly of great benefit to the pollock industry but as a federal taxpayer I have to wonder how much of this frozen product going to so many diverse destinations via trucks gets mishandled and ends up being discarded. Our infrastructure in the U.S. for handling frozen fish properly and efficiently is sorely lacking. Also I have to wonder if an early introduction to so much of the lowly pollock at school doesn't turn young people away from being fish consumers later in life?
School lunches are exactly the same in prison. If we pardon a few more people we could improve the pollock & pink salmon markets, and make those Drag Queens Great Again!
Just as much of it as any other type of frozen meat? Frozen fish sticks is about as stable as it gets… and they’re actually delicious and can be cooked by a child in an oven or microwave.

Omg! The government is trying to serve Alaskan seafood to kids all over the country! Shame on them!
Why is it the governments job to feed your kids? Shame on You!
Why is it your job to whine when a child who, for many reasons that aren’t his fault or the result of laziness, gets a needed meal? Take that you unlucky kid without a trust fund!
Think about who you are before you fault the government for helping needy kids!
Classic deckboss poster: got rich during free transfer of wealth (IFQ and CFEC permit that he now "medical" transfers each year) but feels that government welfare programs to feed hungry kids is communism. Likely commenting from second home in AZ.
There was no such thing as a free transfer of wealth, even with that Homestead Act you had to upgrade the property, something you welfare queens haven't figured out, before we even had such a thing as a welfare queen. Even Andrew Jackson sold 80 acres of land for $100.00 and robbed the Bank of the United States to pay off the National Debt, to $0.00. You people are so stupid you don't know what the words "transfer of wealth' even means in any simple Econ 101 course. "three generations of imbeciles are enough." 274 U.S. 200, after Mr.Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes shot quite a few democrats, who refused to transfer that wealth to a few of their slaves. How long you been on the Back Deck?
