Stan Zuray's bio is posted on the Board of Fisheries website:

Curiously, it neglects to mention his starring role on the reality TV series "Yukon Men."

Stan Zuray replaces David Weisz, who resigned from the board after serving only a short time. Weisz is CEO of the Three Bears Alaska grocery store chain.

So is this guy for or against commercial fishermen?

Weisz appointment was such an insult to fishermen — he knew nothing and was totally disengaged. Fish and Game staff had to spend lots of hours and money just to get the bare minimum education for him. But he was just there to promote his biz, and waste everyone's time. And now we learn he gets a boatload of money from the Permanent Fund. Tammany Hall, anyone?
