The new veep for UFA Charles "Chip" Trienen arrested for fishing in closed waters in Bristol Bay. UFA is like a magnet for this kind of behavior. When will the members get smart and abandon this sinking ship. Chip was supposed to give the association some credibility. Well done UFA, well done.

That's a new low.

Chip was nearly killed in an auto accident while on the way to hunting camp last winter.
Spent all year in rehab and just got going again.

Obviously you've never fished the bay. One click over the line baby.

Matt Marinkovich got one as well. I'll bet half of the Bay RSDA members have gotten a ticket or two in their careers.

I have been commercial fishing for over 40 years on the Copper River & PWS. I have three citations, during that time period. So what! Your hatred of UFA is misdirected. If you are commercial fisher, why not start your own fisher support group, or are you a LOSER you lets others do your work for you.

I've fished the Copper and the Sound since 1970 and never got a ticket. You don't have to fish illegally to catch fish. That's a lame excuse.
