Coast Guard airlifts crewman with head injury

The U.S. Coast Guard is reporting a rescue helicopter crew today medevaced a crewman who suffered a head injury in a fall aboard the Petersburg fishing vessel Pamela Rae.

The helicopter carried carried Camden McKay, 25, from Pelican to Juneau at 11:52 a.m., the Coast Guard said.

Once in Juneau, McKay was taken to Bartlett Regional Hospital.
