These people are clowns. They just wasted a bunch of money going to Newport, Oregon, when they could have done Anchorage.
These meetings are booked years in advance to save money, you clown. Canceling would have cost more. MSA requires meetings to be held in the PNW, as well. Glad to see you commented before listening to the meeting!
It is delusional to believe there would be higher costs to cancel the Newport meeting and move it to Anchorage. It just requires planning, which the council lacks.
Good management reacts to conditions as they arise to produce the best outcomes. Blindly falling on "MSA requires" without looking at the bigger picture shows how out of touch people are.
Hahaha. You obviously know best and I'm sure better than the people planning these things whose jobs are at stake when the council runs out of money. You also seem to know how to get out of lost deposits and how to get around the astronomical costs of holding a meeting in ANC during cruise ship season. Maybe the council should hire you!
