PSPA weighs in on Pebble

The Pacific Seafood Processors Association has updated its stance on the proposed Pebble copper and gold mine in Southwest Alaska.

PSPA now concludes that "the level of risk posed by the Pebble mine is simply too high."

Read the organization's two-page statement here.

Deckboss snagged the statement off the website of the Bristol Bay Regional Seafood Development Association, which also opposes the mine.

Would you please illustrate to the rest of us how "hindsight is 20/20 especially with your head up your ass"?

  5. "hindsight" Is just saying Thank you to PSPA and to all that dare to do the right thing. And that is to Protect the Btistol Bay Waters for all of us that cherish every minute we are there. And to those who enjoy a nice thick portion of wild salmon with the ones they love. Bless those who risk there lives while providing for others.
If you really want a picture of what the Pebble OPEN PIT,HARD ROCK Mine will look like, dont wipe Your AssHole for a Week.

  8. Careful who you shake a stick at fellas. The mining industry can spend the same amount of effort and more to stop the fishing industry cold too. How many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop? not many.

  9. Yeah ... right. Been conkin' those Bristol Bsy reds for over a hundred years, still getting 20-50 mil a year. Healthy as ever!!! Can't say the same for any mining area.
