Congratulations Stephanie

If you have half the energy and do half as good a job as Fug you will be a rockstar

Don't write off the great progress and initiatives Fug was working on just because of his epic mistake

He had some incredibly important issues and major momentum going on such programs as the National Seafood Marketing Coalition

Best of success to you and hope you make us and your boss proud

BobbyT,
Fug didn't make 1 epic mistake, he violated fisheries, with rules he made himself.
Glad he got caught, hope he gets lots of time.

Sounds like Ms. Moreland is Bobbyt's friend. What's that saying - something about birds and feathers flocking together.

I'm hoping she'll bring ethics to the fisheries mess that we have going within Alaska and off it's coast - Gulf of Alaska, Bering Sea and Southern Pacific Ocean. Lots of ground for pirates out there.

Stefanie is an excellent choice - she's extremely capable and will work diligently for the benefit of sustainable fisheries management and future generations of fishermen.

There is no harder working fisheries professional in Alaska. Senator Murkowski is getting the best of the best and I wish Stefanie well in her new endeavor.

Bob T wasn't Arnie a close friend? I wonder if you have any secrets?

I didn't hear from the Senators office on the candidates or if there was a chance to weigh in on this appointment. I find Moreland to be arrogant and confused on her role as a State fisheries advisor. She may be academicaly qualified but her people skill are least to be desired. Not anything like AF. True, he definately made critical mistakes in his personal life, I am sure that he will pay for this his entire life. Nevertheless, he was approachable and straight forward when it came to fisheies issues. I am afraid Moreland will be more of a clown from the Parnell group and has no heart for Alaska and the fishermen and families. She will buckle under the pressure from the offshore fleet, her ties with NMFS and bureacracy is clear. Bad choice Lisa, should have asked your fishermen freinds, or maybe you are just embarrased. Boobie T, just planted another kiss of doom.
