Board, council to talk trawl next month

A joint committee of the Alaska Board of Fisheries and the North Pacific Fishery Management Council is set to meet Oct. 16 to discuss a range of trawl topics. Details in this notice.

This is good, and why these crossover meetings of persons with regulatory power is necessary. Let's school the Board of Fish persons on the true effects of bycatch, and let's base it on science instead of the misinformed hysteria on Facebook.
