The Bristol Bay Regional Seafood Development Association says it has developed a petition to have the state of Alaska initiate price mediation between fishermen and processors.

If you read the petition you will see that it doesn't have an actual plan other than individual fishermen need to make a private deal with their processor. Nothing new. False hope. Do not gamble your future on empty promises.
There were plenty of warning signs going in. Rumors of .40 were rampant. This not knowing a price is not exclusive to the bay when the season starts. It is exclusive to have no clue til the seasons end.
