In some parts of Alaska it appears preferable to appoint people to the board of fisheries who don't have much experience or understanding of the largest employer in Alaska - commercial fishing. Well.....those folks got their way today.... all because Senator Lyman Hoffman doesn't understand much except what his constituents want. And over time - like all fat cats - he would rather eat free food in Juneau than learn about the rest of Alaska.
