Bering Sea this summer was the warmest I've seen it in the 20 yrs. I've been fishing salmon there...for whatever that may mean.

Regarding "PANIC sell sell sell" it's actually one of the funnier comments I've read on DB. True, there are a lot of morons out there. To think climate change is not a fact is a good example. His comment is simply a humorous way of saying the sky is not falling. We’ve faced many issues in the fish business. Remember the high seas intercept and Fish Cops? We've had to compete with fish farms, El Nino, oil spills, recessions, sky high fuel and interest rates yet we’re still in business. Ocean acidification and global warming will be the biggest issues we face. We must all do what we can to reduce negative impacts on the environment. But while we do that Mr. Panic and I are going to keep fishing…Nice clatter in my hook! Wow, big back side flurry I better run the net!
