This is just a move to head off Mary Peltola's senate run. She is wildly popular for her position on trawling.
So wildly popular that she lost her last race.

All fine and good, but how do they expect to accomplish all these things when the Administration has the opposing goal of slashing Fed programs, personnel, and associated funding?
