All commercial fishing for Pacific halibut in all IPHC Regulatory Areas shall cease for the year at 23:59 local time on 7 December.

How much is the quota going to be cut next year?
Probably 50% but you'll be able to fish all year.
Don't think we need to fish all year for halibut. Halibut have enough problems. We don't need to fish in them during spawning season.
Well,did the council ever consider that catch data is corrupted by the fact of most catch area and efforts have zero monitoring one hundred percent of the time? Halibut is surely far more abundant than iphc claims!
