Bristol Bay forecast is out!

The Alaska Department of Fish and Game is forecasting a 2026 Bristol Bay harvest of 32.3 million sockeye salmon.

Last season produced a catch of 41.2 million.

    The 2025 predicted a catch of 34.8 million, was 6.4 million short of the 41.2 million. Under predictions on wild fish, and over predictions on hatchery fish? Even Cook Inlet went wild in 2025.
