Begich is a supporter of Pebble mine.
How can you say pro-fish when she's only representing her people? I'm an Alaska Native fisherman who also depends on fishing subsistence and commercial. She wanted to kill my fishery. The state of Alaska involves a lot of fisheries. And a lot of different species. I wouldn't say she's pro-fishing if she's trying to kill a fishery to save another fishery that undoubtedly has other issues that contribute to the problem. I guess it's always easy to point a finger. 🤷♂️
We need to work with whoever is in that office...doesn't matter.

The best thing — in my humble opinion — is do our best to work away from adversarial tones. We're out of time and there is too much to lose for all of us.
