State prosecutors have filed criminal charges against David Reggiani, general manager of Prince William Sound Aquaculture Corp., and two others in connection with a fuel oil spill in 2013 at the Cannery Creek Hatchery.
There is a high probability that this is Exxon Valdez Oil Spill residual oil that migrated to this hatchery via a geologic fracture. Clearly Exxon bears responsibility for this spill and should therefore pay all cleanup costs.
This is wrong on so many levels. Failing to report the spill, attempting to cover it up, bullying the employee until he resigned, lying to regulators; unbelievable! If the board doesn't fire Regiani for this they are complete fools.
Rigatoni will never get fired. He has mismanaged that company for years and yet there he sits.....I blame the board for being idiots and not ousting his worthless hiney long ago.
And have you met the Board 10:27? WTF is the Naked Island Cleaning Station? Many local fishers worked on the cleanup, and some profited more than others, spawning the term "spillionaire." http://www.pwsac.com/contact/board-contact-information
