Mark your calendar

The Alaska Legislature has passed an act establishing Aug. 10 of each year as Alaska Wild Salmon Day.

Uhh...don't they mean July 4th? Traditional Bristol Bay peak. America's finest salmon, all wild, all free, all the time.

August 10th would be a hatchery fish celebration, yum-yum, humpy on the grill. Politics as usual. Pass the sauce.
