What are you smoking or are you from Wrangell? The Stika King fishery is history for gillnetting, they changed the release site a few years back and it has been a flop for a few years now.Nice try thought trying to keep boats away from Stikine fishery
Lots of guys going to Sitka early and staying until the end. Makes sense, decent runs, you don't have to chase the fish around a large area, not crowded, close to town, never gets rough and they always pay more for chums there.
Salmon is chump change, it doesn't matter how many go where. That gold rush is over and it won't come back. The big sized GMO farmed fish will be the final straw, because size is everything. boats&permits= way more sellers than buyers.
9:35pm you are retarded.what, are you a hedge fund manager or something.just stick with the financial times and leave this fishing business to the men. Yeah, we all realize it's not 1980. We can't go deck load our halibut schooners... also maybe if some of you 65 to 90 year old guys would retire it would give young guys like myself a chance to come up through the fisheries. Pimpin ain't easy when a 1970s little hoquiam boat is 350000$ and halibut quota is 50$ a pound.

If you go to either fishery you aren't very good at math.

Right on man we will be there!!!! Think I'm going to stay the whole season
HA HA HA pay more for chums? Like Billy at SSS is a price leader.
It wouldn't matter if you were longlining sand fleas in the western aleutians... you have to travel for fish,11:03.
If you aint chasin you're farming not fishing.
None of the Sitka guys were in Taku or 15C this year.
That's good enough for me.
They are known as the "silver spoon fleet". They don't need to make any money..
