You Alaskans want it all your way. We the people rescued you from a Putin future and now you want your fellow Americans to stop fishing in "Our Waters". You receive $1.84 for every dollar you pay in taxes and 28% of you work for the Feds, stop whining and buck up .oldjr
Do you posters not read? To quote: "Within Gov. Hickel's cabinet, I helped fight for EPA permits for our processors and helped establish Community Development Quotas."
Hey lazy slackers, do you really expect anyone to listen when you are so completely lame?
Lt Gov. Mead, promise to FIX CDQ and the voters of the YK Delta who champion fairness, will help you win the republican primary and take the seat held by Senator Begich in November.
You should do this because it is the right thing to do and because you claim to help establish the unfair CDQ program.
@8.17 anon, no dude, we dont want it our way, we want it fairly. Think its cool to kill of the halibut the way you assclowns killed off the rockfish on the washington coast? Drug the willapa hump flat? Saw that one with both eyes, and mine dont have to migrate to the other side of my head to see what those boats are doing to the goa/bsai fishery. Theres plenty here for all of us, you included, but not for one player to come in and dominate and expect the home team to pull the goalie. Buck up? F that.
As neither an Oregonian, Washingtonian or Alaskan, I'm thinking any fisherman from the first two have very little in the long term sustainability game to be proud of about their home states and fleets. They are more like buccaneers than fishermen. Shame!
Would the senatorial candidate be referring to the oregon drag fleet when he refers to "reducing foreign bycatch"?
