  1. shut down hurts everyone, but the leaders keeping government workers @ home. The leaders as well as the pres. shouldn't get paid and all the government workers should be working. as they need to feed their families and pay bills. government hurting everyone else, esp. the hardworking fishermen.

  3. Apparently you have not been paying attention-the house of reps. voted on a bill to fund the entire government and debt limit excluding the ACA and delaying the individual mandate. The reasoning was the Obama admin has been giving out exemptions to political activists and corporations. If they can do that and delay their own ACA why cant the republicans stand up and say you should delay the individual mandate as well. The senate tabled the bill and did not vote on it, thus the "shutdown." My question is: if the teaparty is so small, not popular and a joke how can such a small fractured group shut the government down? Not very small are they!
Maybe I am the only one in America who has not been impacted one bit by this so called shutdown, the sky has yet to fall.
Notice I did not call anyone names in my post, just facts.

  5. No, but I am very proud of you 4:04pm. You cannot spell correctly nor form a coherent sentence.
Another fact is: the Republicans have voted I believe 43 times to defund the ACA since 2010.
Another fact is: The House controls the purse strings, the House can decide where money is spent and where money is not spent. There are three branches of Government they all have there special duties that they only control.
Last time I checked we were and are a Democracy, thus this is the way we do business in this country.
The problem is the Republicans are trying to negotiate with a man that has never negotiated anything in his life!

    Grammar lesson-They're, there, their
All have different meanings, please use them correctly otherwise your writing is just jibberish.

    School is now over-bon voyage!

  7. Too bad the Senate (dem leadership)won't negotiate with the house. They've abdicated their duty to the President.

If the Senate would negotiate, the house could override the nutbags like Cruz.
