Condolences to the Baker family and all of Chuck's extensive friends and admirers.
I first met Chuck while at NEFCO in the 1970's, then had the pleasure of working in conjunction with him at Alaska Boat Company in the early 90's. Always the memorable smile and the shine of happiness in his eyes, and wisdom in his words.
A gentleman, steadfast in his experience, fair to others, it was a pleasure to work with such a wondrous old salt. Chuck was so proud of the Egil B - and it was fitting for him to be aboard for so many years.
May he rest in the peace of slowly rocking seas under fair skies.
