Sounds like the Feds have quite a issue with those bycatch issues in front of Judge Holland.

One thing for certain is after 30 years of the CBC, and the Murkowski, Stevens, and Young Plans, addendums to the Fuglvof UFA Plans also seem to be on hold...

More bycatch coming soon to a fishery near you!

aLL OF THIS TROUBLE COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED IF THE CHARTER FLEET HAD STAYED WITHIN THEIR ALLOCATION.

SPEAKING OF ALOCATION, LETS SEE THE PERCENTAGES! CHARTER HARVESTED HALIBUT NEVER SHARED IN THE GOOD TIMES BUT ARE EXPECTED TO TAKE A MASSIVE CUT IN THE DOWN!

why do the charter boys feel they have the right to the halibut?you are providing a recreational experience to your client, which is your resource commercial fishermens resource are the halibut.now if you want advertise come to alaska and take box fulls of halibut home you should have to go by the same rules that govern the ifq system.and also you should stay within your guideline harvest set by your own log book program which is 1.6 million pounds here in southeast not the 3 million pounds or more you are steling now.as far as the legeslature is concerned they are all members of thr territoreol sport groups here in alaska so you all stand a chance of stealing the halibut resource from the fisherman at these hearing!oh by the way maybe you can get your friens at state fish and game offices to support your thieving too!!

Halibut ex vessel prices are at a all time high! Arne and his buddies at ufa & npfmc fill their pockets with ifqs, while limiting the charter fleet to the leftovers. The resource has been stolen by the few and has secured their own retirement. So, comm fishers, please no more whining. You sound like a broken record!

Well you are correct about UFA corruption, and the Corrupt Bastards Club, operating with Stevens, Murkowski, and Don Young too!

However, this Halibut Fleet was were fishing in the Pacific Ocean, when Alaska was ran by another Corrupt Bastards Club, way before there was such a thing as the State of Alaska.
Before there was a road to Fort William H. Seward..

Sealing isn't the correct termonology, unless of course you moved to Alaska with the rest of the Corrupt Texans to build a pipeline, that has turned Alaska into a Permenate Fund Welfare State of Confusion.

Stealing, and how old "IS" that Commercial Halibut Fleet, shown best by quite a few Schooners built way on back before Woodrow Wilson decided that the Welfare State was a given.

Fishing for Tuition, some people still need to go back to the 1st grade!
