The Copper River District will open for the season at 7 a.m. Monday for a 12-hour period.

    may take all day to sort it out, though it is at least $4 lb., less than last year.

    105,000 Sockeye caught, and 1,600 kings with the inside closed in 12 hours.
    The Copper is back and heading for a huge run not seen in a while.
