Arrrrgh indeed, but foulweather work can sometimes leave the maidens a bit damp in the crawl spaces...
wow i better jump on board work at two percent of the gross for ten years and maybe just maybe if i'm lucky get the five percent!!!think i'll just keep my minimum job wage on the slime line next to mexicans slavs and poor white [europeons]these boat captains wearing there gold and jewels truely represent capitalisim at it's grandest!and buyers of the crab represent the same.

There's a lot fishermen don't do, Anonymous, like get involved in the process of the politics of fishing.
Looking back when I was on deck, all I cared about was sharing up and getting my horn scraped.
It was different back then.
That was before the industry was being attacked by the ENGO's and fishermen were respected.
I don't know how much longer a young guy will be able to have a future in the industry as soon enough crewmen from Brazil will be flown in and stay on boats for a length of time then rotated back home on a regular basis. Cheap labor and free transportation.
It's time to really lean into those that will make this happen.
